Science - components of blood

This week, pupils learned about the components of blood, and their functions. Having understood how red blood cells, white blood cells, plasma and platelets are key parts of our blood, we then made a model of blood using cheerios, food dyes, water, raisins and marshmallows! We also used watercolours in art to paint red blood cells, focusing on shading and shape. See the photos below to look at the display of our work.
