Welcome to Mr Cosgrove's Class

A warm welcome to all year 6 children and parents. In our class we are also very lucky to work with Mrs Dale.

The children work very hard and have lots of fun, as we aim to make our work challenging and memorable. We want all pupils to achieve their utmost potential this year, and to come out of the class with a love of learning for the future.

P.E. lessons will take place on Tuesdays and Fridays. Children will require outdoor clothing for P.E., as well as their indoor P.E. kit.

Easter break HOMEWORK 2025 

Over the Easter holidays, the main focus for our year 6 homework is to recap a range of Mathematics & SPaG skills.

Below there are 2 booklets - 1 x questions, 1 x answers -  that focus on the arithmetic and reasoning skills.

There are also a set of SPaG questions covering a range of skills as well as the answer booklet to accompany it. 

As always, we also promote reading 1:1 with your child and asking key questions that focus on finding out what they understand about the text. A document to support questioning is below.
