The Year 2's absolutely love reading!

We have our very own reading tent in the classroom and a range of books for the children to choose from and enjoy together. Every Friday afternoon we have 'Reading for pleasure' where the Year 2's enjoy sharing books from the school library.

The children love bringing in books from home to share with the class and even have the confidence to read the book themselves! To encourage reading at home they have a reading strip which an adult signs everytime they read with them. If they fill their reading strip they get to have juice and biscuits with Miss Moss and Mrs Sargeant. Yummy!
